Golden Days

Hey everyone!
Sorry for not posting sooner we have been super busy with soccer and life in general!! This week was Mateo's last week of soccer, Felicity will continue on to Tournament next and hopefully we will be done with this crazy chapter by next weekend!!

Not sure if I want to do this again next summer, we have had no free time to explore Alaska like we planned. Mateo asked if he could try out for the comp team (competitive leagues) they practice and play all year long and even travel!!! We agreed he can tryout...we'll just have to wait and see if he makes it. We would be really excited for him if he made it but not too disappointed if he didn't.

This weekend was FMH Family Picnic and Golden Day Celebrations. Its been a fun and busy weekend, lots of activities...the parade, rubber ducky race, governor's picnic (go see Sarah Palin) and my favorite the Red Green Regatta. (duct tape & cardboard boat's floating down the river)

Karen and the girls are settling just fine, Karen got a job!! She is a Medical Imaging Assistant. It seems to be a really great fit for her and it has a nice career path in the hospital. She started mid-week & is enjoying it fine. The girls are settling down nicely in their daycare programs and have very busy days, everyone is exhausted at the end of the day. Karen is discovering quickly that have an excellent school system in place.

Not much else to add, I'm exhausted from our busy day and ready to sit down and watch some boob tube...we catching the new series "being human" on BBC looks promising.

Love you all!
