Alej's First Step

We hit a milestone this weekend. Alej crawled up the first 3 steps of the staircase. A huge feat for a child who will never walk. We were so excited, I wanted to cry but held it in and just encouraged him and clapped with each step he went up. It was tiring work but at the end of the day he went to bed happy and content. No picture I can take can show the pure joy we were feeling.

You gotta love old movies on a rainy day! Flash...aha...he saved everyone of us! One of the things i have enjoyed most about being a parent is sharing all the old pop culture with my kids. They love it! I get to relive a bit of my past and we all get a good laugh about the cheesness. Heaven!

It is raining again in Fairbanks sometimes i don't think it will ever stop.
